Personal Trainer

The YMCA is currently looking for a Personal Trainer that is available during evening hours.

Qualifications

Certified in Personal Training for a nationally accredited organization (ex. NASM, ACE, NPTA, ISSA)

Current CPR/AED Certification (Training available if needed)

Flexible Hours

Positive, motivating and effective communication skills

Ability to train all fitness levels (Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced Clients)

At least 1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry preferred

Birthday Party Host/Half Day Event Supervision

Must be available the last Wednesday of each month for Half Day supervision and on the weekends for birthday parties.  18 years or older.

Tumbling Instructor

Looking for an energetic individual to assist with our tumbling program on Thursday nights.  Must have knowledge of beginner and intermediate tumbling skills and be able to teach proper technique to children as young as 5 years old.  Must also be comfortable being in charge of a small group of kids.

Basketball Official

IHSA preferred.  We are looking for officials to referee our summer night men's basketball league as well as our winter youth league.  Please contact a.spencer@streatorymca.org with any questions.

AM Part time Lifeguard

Must be certified in life saving, CPR, and AED.
