Adventure Camp (6-10 Years)
Introducing our 2025 Summer Adventure Camps! Our Summer Camps are designed for children to make friends, have fun, get active, and discover what they can achieve while they explore with us all summer long. Our team of experienced and educated staff are trained in childcare, mandated reporting, CPR, and first aid. Each day of camp will include a craft, a fine motor skills activity, and outside time!
Participants should bring a bag/backpack, a snack, a reusable water bottle, and sunscreen each day. Campers should wear swimsuits under their clothes on swim days and bring a towel and underwear to change into afterwards.
Camp runs on the following schedule:
- Mondays: 9:00-11:00 AM *Optional swim lesson add on from 11:00-12:00 PM
- Tuesdays: 9:00-12:00 PM
- Wednesdays: 9:00-11:00 AM *Optional swim lesson add on from 11:00-12:00 PM
- Thursdays: 9:00-12:00 PM
Registration for each camp closes the WEDNESDAY before camp starts to give our staff time to review child profiles and to appropriately prep supplies and activities.
Swim Lesson Optional Add-On
Swim lessons are not automatically included within your child’s camp registration for the 2025 season. Additional registration is required. Add-on lessons are available for free and immediately follow summer camp hours on Mondays and Wednesdays. To add swim lessons to your child’s summer camp experience at no extra cost to you, REGISTER HERE.

2.) Safety Now: Skills for Life (Swim Lesson Add-On)
Free Swim Lessons for Summer Campers!
We’re excited to offer optional free swim lessons to all children enrolled in our YMCA Adventure Camp!
Swim lessons will be held every Monday and Wednesday following camp, and registration is required separately from your child’s summer camp enrollment.
Each session is fun, engaging, and focused on developing critical water safety and self-rescue skills, including:
- Helping kids feel confident and comfortable in the water
- Learning two core safety techniques:
- Jump, Push, Turn, Grab
- Swim, Float, Swim
- Understanding how to respond if someone needs help in the water
- Reinforcing safety skills through fun, interactive activities
